Imparta is a fast-growing, London based company that provides world-class blended sales and management training to major national and multi national companies. Our business is increasingly centred on creating and running high profile sales, marketing and leadership “academies”.
These academies go well beyond traditional training to achieve real business impact. They combine assessment, training, reinforcement and coaching with impact measurement to drive changes in behaviour. We are looking for an Account Manager to join our team to support the academies and change programmes that will significantly improve our clients’ sales, marketing and/or leadership effectiveness.
Role
Imparta’s Account Manager will work closely with the Lead Consultants who act as overall account owners for the academies.
Responsibilities:
- Account management of large and/or complex academies and learning and development projects for our customers, including virtual management of project teams, delivery consultants and supplier relationships as appropriate
- Ensuring sales academies are providing tangible performance improvements Managing academy/project budgets
- Initiating and managing project plans
- Defining project scope and terms of reference, ensuring that project deliverables are capable of achieving the defined business benefit
- Managing stakeholder and project sponsors at each stage of the project
- Working in partnership with Imparta’s Client Impact, Development, Logistics and Production teams to ensure that projects are consistently delivered to professional standards
- Ensuring all project commitments are met and reporting on progress
- Identifying project/programme risks and advising/working with stakeholders to mitigate their impact, or escalate if required
- Contributing to and influencing business results through effective planning and implementation of projects, which are consistent with the objectives of the overall academy
- Providing a day-to-day contact point between the customer sales academy team and Imparta
You?
The Account Manager will help senior clients at major corporations manage significant academies and change programmes. As such they will need to have:
- Proven experience in both a sales and learning and development environment with a good business and commercial awareness
- Track record of end to end delivery of projects for client groups and knowledge of project methodologies
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- A high degree of detail-orientation and efficiency
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Expert level Excel skills
- Graduate Level education (minimum)
- Previous experience using Project Management software
- Strong project management skills
- Project management resource allocation experience
- Effective project execution skills
- To acquire and then demonstrate knowledge, expertise and application of Imparta’s CCV framework
- Training will be provided on implementing/leading an academy
Salary
£45k Negotiable
