When founder Richard Barkey started Imparta in 1997, the goal was to provide an antidote to an industry that was – and remains – focused on delivering events rather than results.
What clients say about our impact on their business.

Imparta helps companies to achieve significant and lasting improvements in sales and marketing effectiveness, by combining researched content with a deep understanding of how adults learn, and how to overcome barriers to change. We aim to stand out in an industry that too often fails to deliver on its promises.
Our integrated, “best of breed” approach combines intensive simulation-based workshops with advanced diagnostic, coaching and application tools. We put as much emphasis on what happens after the training as on the training itself, and work closely with each client to create a lasting and measurable impact on performance that far outweighs their investment.
Global in scope, Imparta is the “expert’s expert”. We teach sales to some of the world’s leading sales forces (including GE and O2), marketing to leading companies such as the WPP Group, and leadership and strategy to consulting firms like KPMG. We also practise what we preach; Imparta’s revenues have grown an average of 55% a year for the last five years.
We are currently in the process of establishing a strong family of professional linguists who will collaborate with us on translating our sales training workshops into various languages.
