Abi Jones

Having previously worked as Faculty for Imparta, Abi has just joined the Imparta team as Development Project Leader.

After graduating with a BA Hons degree in Italian Language and Literature with French, Abi began her career in the UK, working in international sales with Emap plc. She then moved to a senior managerial role with Cresta Holidays (Airtours), focusing on the Italian and French markets. This role involved designing and delivering in-house product training.

Abi has just relocated to the UK, after spending 6 years based in Italy working in professional skills and personal development training/coaching in the energy & pharmaceutical industries, auditing/financial consulting and public sector, in Italy and across Europe. Clients included GE Oil & Gas, GE Money, Merck Serono, and Ernst & Young. She worked with mid to senior management, with particular focus on High Potentials.

Abi has a Masters in Social Anthropology with specialisation in China. She has guest lectured at the American University of Rome on the Chinese market opportunity. She has co-written articles on cultural sensitivity and marketing in SE Asia.

Abi is a GE Certified Trainer for Customer Responsiveness.

She is fluent in both Italian and French, and speaks basic Chinese.
