Accelerate Learning
Training is easy to do, but hard to do well. Imparta has invested over 15 years and millions of pounds in creating blended learning approaches, content and supporting technology that can deliver measurable results as part of the Capability Building System.
Our training is highly experiential, reflecting the fact that people learn new skills through practise and reflection. Our philosophy can be traced back to Carl Jung’s work on learning styles, but is perhaps best embodied in David Kolb’s experiential learning cycle:
The training component of our work typically encompasses three stages:
- Pre-Work, to build a base of knowledge;
- Simulations, to provide experiences on which to reflect, as well as an opportunity to experiment with different approaches;
- Interactive Workshops, to provide further learning cycles and strengthen the link between reflection and experimentation.
The training is also followed up to maximise impact (as described elsewhere in our Capability Building® process).
