When founder Richard Barkey started Imparta in 1997, the goal was to provide an antidote to an industry that was – and remains – focused on delivering events rather than results.
Online tutorials accelerate learning and save workshop time for applying knowledge. See demo at:

Blended learning allows knowledge to be acquired at the learner’s own pace, reducing the amount of time that participants spend in the classroom and allowing that time to be focused on practice and application rather than lecturing.
We use animated tutorials to impart knowledge in an accessible, fun and memorable way. The animations can be hosted by your own LMS or our learning portal, i-Coach. They provide a common language and combine humour and genuine business insight with a gift for finding the right analogy.
The tutorials also include case studies and interactive exercises that are designed to reinforce key concepts and allow users to test their understanding before progressing to the next stage. These can efficiently be tailored to your environment if required.
Pre-work (and reinforcement/application tools) can be delivered online, on a CD, on paper, or in a mobile format suitable for use on a PDA or similar device.
Users may also use a pre-quiz and/or a capability self-assessment. The quiz is a scenario-based questionnaire designed to test that the knowledge acquired in the tutorials can be applied in new situations. It directs people back to the material that they have not fully understood so that they have a solid foundation before attending a workshop. The capability self-assessment, on the other hand, asks attendees to select their current performance against a number of capabilities, based on descriptions of each level of performance. The results of either exercise can be used to create a pre/post comparison, and both are fully customizable.
During the pre-work phase, participants are also generally given a template to complete and bring to the workshop, which relates to a current task and helps to “draw them through” the pre-work. This also begins the process of applying the learning to their real life activities, and provides a case study on which to work during the workshop.
