Fiona McAnenaFiona is a blue-chip marketer with twenty five years’ business experience, gained at Unilever, Added Value, WPP, PepsiCo and Bupa. Her expertise is in strategic marketing; proposition development and innovation; building and managing brands (including brand positioning, brand architecture); customer centricity. Sector experience includes healthcare, telecoms, financial services, FMCG, media, professional services, travel and leisure.
Fiona read natural sciences at St John’s College Cambridge, and won a rowing blue. She is a Fellow of the Marketing Society and a member of the Society’s management board.
Tim SeftonTim is a Board level executive with twenty years of experience of successfully operating in highly complex and competitive markets within the TMT sectors.
He joined BTCellnet in 2000 as GM of Business Marketing and became recognised as a key thought leader in the team which turned around BTCellnet to O2 in a number of roles including Head of Marketing Strategy. Tim has a particular focus on creating and implementing strategic growth initiatives through customer and market insight, brand positioning, proposition development, brand extension via new business units and business development including M&A and joint ventures.
As the director of strategy and new business development at O2 from 2008-2012, Tim lead the creation of seven different strategic business units which he successfully nurtured through their start up phases to market launch and profitability.
Tony FrancoTony started his career at Nestle where he worked on a number of their key brands including Nescafe and Buitoni. He then moved into the world of marketing consultancy, working for Added Value as a Director of the UK business.
Tony has worked extensively across a diverse range of sectors, including FMCG, pharmaceuticals, financial services, alcohol and telecomms. Brands he has recently worked on include Miller Genuine Draft, Baby Bel, Plenty, Patak’s, Pfizer, O2 and Aviva.
Tony continues to work with clients on innovation, brand strategy, brand planning and consumer insight projects.
Robin BirnRobin is an experienced global marketing consultant, market researcher and business to business marketing and strategy trainer. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Chartered Marketer and Fellow of the Market Research Society and is author of several books on marketing and research.
He has worked in the marketing services sector since 1979 including, Strategy Research and Action as Managing Director, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales as Head of Consultation and Research, Client Service Director in WPP at Taylor Nelson and Research International, and at Imparta since 2008.
Experience covers Professional Services, Financial Services and Member Services marketing. He has also been involved in developing funding streams through the European Union funded by Leonardo Da Vinci for on-line distance learning programmes for skills development .
